Holiday Tree Pick-Up

Dear Winchester  -  Please consider letting the Scouts pick up and dispose of your Christmas tree this year.  
Leave your bare tree on your curb by 7:00 AM on Saturday, January 7, 2023 and your tree will be collected by 4:00 PM.
  • Trees must be curbside by 7:00 AM on Saturday, Jan. 7, 2023
  • PLEASE REMOVE ALL ORNAMENTS, LIGHTS, PLASTIC, TRIM, ETC.
  • Order deadline is 11:59 PM on Monday, Jan. 2, 2023
  • Pick-ups only available in Winchester​​​
  • When ordering, please provide a cell phone number or email address where you can be reached if we cannot find your tree.

Tree Drive

Welcome to ​Troop 507

Troop 507 is youth-led organization that includes boys and girls (12 to 18 years old) and is charted by the Crawford Memorial United Methodist Church in Winchester, MA.

Our mission is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.

Our Troop meets every Monday evening from 6:45 PM to 8:15 PM.

Cub Scout Pack 507

​The Cub Scout program is a great way to introduce kids 1st through 5th grade to Scouting.  You can find out more information at Winchester's Pack 507 website.

Meet the Troop

Troop Meetings
During out Troop meetings, younger Scouts learn basic Scout skills while older Scouts learn valuable lessons in leadership.  
Learn skills like:
  • Camping
  • First aid
  • Navigation with map and compass
  • Knots and lashings
  • Cooking
  • ​Nature
Monthly Outings
Every month, the Troop goes on a weekend camping trip.  Each camping trip has a theme, and the Scouts are able to engage in activities that help them develop self confidence and personal growth.
Camping themes include:
  • Snowshoeing in the White Mountains
  • Biking on Martha's Vineyard/Nantucket
  • Ice climbing
  • Canoe trip on the Sudbury River
  • Thanksgiving Turkey Roast
